Test Automation Specialist

The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of Front Office (FO) and Back Office (BO) functions, with experience in static data and exposure to Fixed Income and Security flow.

Familiarity with MxTest, CI/CD tools, and automation frameworks is a plus. The test specialist will design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for Murex modules, ensuring compliance with testing standards and best practices.

  • Design and develop automated test scripts for Murex modules including FO, BO, Risk, and Interfaces.
  • Perform functional, regression, and integration testing using automation tools.
  • Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and support teams to understand requirements and validate system behavior.
  • Implement automation frameworks and ensure reusability, maintainability, and scalability of scripts.
  • Track and log defects, coordinating with development teams for retesting and resolution.
Key Responsibilities:

The test specialist will work closely with the development team to implement automated testing processes, ensuring quality and efficiency in software releases.

Required Skills:
  • 5+ years of experience in Murex testing, with hands-on experience in Murex automation tools.
  • Strong understanding of Murex architecture and workflows, including FO, BO, Risk, Accounting, and Interfaces.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as Java, Python, or similar for automation.
  • Experience with test management tools like JIRA, ALM, or similar.
  • Knowledge of SQL and ability to write complex queries for test data validation.
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
