Job Overview

This is a full-time, on-site leadership role. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing product development, QA and documentation teams.

Responsibilities
  • Lead Product Development, QA and Documentation teams
  • Deliver Engineering Product Releases and Patches
  • Provide work breakdown and be accountable for all team deliverables
  • Interact with team members to ensure timely and successful delivery of each sprint iteration
  • Offer technical guidance, coaching and mentoring to the team
  • Be responsible for tools and processes for all engineering activities
  • Collaborate with Product Management to shape the product roadmap
  • Work with Services Organization to set expectations regarding product enhancements and patches
  • Define and manage quarterly goals for the team
Ideal Candidate
  • Should have 8-10 years of experience with at least 3 years being in a leadership position
  • Must have been an enterprise product developer who has grown into a management role
  • Must have worked in small-sized/startup companies
  • Strong engineering management and team leadership skills
  • Must have a good grasp of AI technologies, including AI Agents, LLMs and Generative AI
  • Leverage knowledge of AI Agents, LLMs and Generative AI to enhance product capabilities
  • Identify and implement AI-driven features and improvements aligned with customer needs
  • Should have designed and delivered:
    • Open Source based Enterprise Software
    • Software based on Java, Angular JS, ReactJS, Python, NOSQL databases, Elastic, Kubernetes
    • Solutions in the Cloud (AWS or Azure or Google Cloud Platform)
    • Must have experience with Containerization, Docker, Kubernetes
    • Delivered multiple releases of products using Agile Development
    • Played the roles of Scrum Master
    • Delivered artifacts like Design/Test Plan/Documentation Plan documents
    • Led Product Development Teams involving UI, Middle-Tier and Database developers
    • Led Product Development, QA and Documentation Teams
    • Delivered performance reviews, improvement plans to team members
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
    • Must possess a bachelor's or master's degree in CS/IT Engineering or related fields
    Desired Skills
    • To have delivered Big Data solutions and Enterprise Security Software is a plus
    • To have Authored one or more Patents is a key differentiator
