Job Summary

We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead our credit underwriting and monitoring efforts. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a portfolio of personal loans through digital channels.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Credit Underwriting: Develop and implement policies for end-to-end credit underwriting, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  2. Solution Development: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement solutions for credit underwriting based on different product constructs.
  3. Data Analysis: Work closely with data scientists to analyze underwriting models, validate their performance, and identify areas for improvement.
  4. Performance Monitoring: Track portfolio profitability, risk thresholds, and funnel metrics, analyzing management information systems to inform decision-making.
  5. Process Automation: Automate credit policies to minimize manual intervention in assessing creditworthiness.
  6. Pricing Strategy: Determine the right pricing basis segmentation to optimize revenue growth.
  7. Policy Standardization: Develop and implement standardized policies and processes to ensure consistency across the organization.

New Partner Integrations:

  1. Product Understanding: Familiarize yourself with new channel partner products and target segments.
  2. Policy Creation: Develop policies based on product information, prevailing models, and expected loss rates.
  3. Data Room Exercise: Facilitate data room exercises for new customer segments.
  4. Policy Implementation: Monitor policy implementation, UAT, and production test runs, addressing any bottlenecks that arise.

Relationship Management:

  • Partnerships: Establish and maintain relationships with partners, credit reporting agencies, and other key stakeholders.
  • Credit Operations: Support all credit operations, ensuring seamless collaboration across teams.
