Strategic Procurement Manager Role

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Procurement Manager to develop and execute comprehensive procurement strategies, ensuring cost-effective sourcing of resources while maintaining positive supplier relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategic procurement plans, negotiate with vendors, review goods ordered, and coordinate receipt of goods to ensure effective purchasing for the organization.
  • Lead daily procurement activities, supervise staff, allocate tasks, and train team members on improving efficiency in work and proposing improvements on procurement activities.
  • Collaborate with departments for new product development, identify suppliers, conduct feasibility studies, and control inventory as per company norms.
  • Maintain a robust supplier database, purchase records, prepare monthly MIS reports, and attend interdepartmental meetings to drive business growth.

Requirements:

  • 5 years of experience in strategic procurement in Manufacturing Industry
  • Strong communication, process knowledge, and negotiation skills
  • Advanced SAP knowledge and presentation skills
  • Team handling, problem-solving, and supplier evaluation skills
