Senior Operations Manager

This role involves overseeing various aspects of our operations, including sourcing knit fabric, managing vendor relationships, and advising buyers on fabric quality and costs.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to analyze complex data, and possess a strategic mindset to drive innovation and efficiency within the team.

  • Fabric Sourcing: Identify and procure high-quality knit fabrics at competitive prices, ensuring timely delivery and meeting buyer specifications.
  • Vendor Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors, negotiate prices, and evaluate their performance to ensure seamless operations.
  • Buyer Support: Provide expert advice on fabric quality, cost, and availability, helping buyers make informed decisions.
  • Innovation and Development: Drive innovative ideas to simplify processes, improve efficiency, and enhance product development.
  • Team Leadership: Motivate and guide teams to achieve innovative product development and operational excellence.
Responsibilities
  • Analyze fabric quality and advise on final fabric cost and delivery schedules.
  • Advise on print types, dye stuffs, and mill selection based on buyer requirements.
  • Develop and present new fabric ranges to designers and merchants.
  • Generate MIS reports and provide insights to relevant departments.
  • Strategize and implement process improvements for efficient resource utilization.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in general management or a related field.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Able to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong strategic thinking and innovation skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office and other relevant software applications.
