Cvent's User Research team is expanding, and we're seeking an experienced User Researcher to excel in a dynamic environment.

About the Job:

We're looking for a skilled researcher to plan and conduct evaluative research, including card sort, tree testing, usability, and heuristics evaluations. You'll synthesize and communicate key findings across cross-functional teams, creating testable hypotheses and using research findings to support and innovate our products.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Develop user understanding and empathy through research, applying expertise in methodologies, human factors, and the user-centered design process.
  • Collaborate with design, analytics, product management, customer support, marketing, and sales teams to formulate and address research questions.
  • Create solutions that meet users' needs by incorporating your research findings into the design and development process.
  • Ensure alignment between research goals, business objectives, and user needs.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in UX, design, research, business, or related fields.
  • 4-19 years of experience conducting user research within a UX team for software/web-based products.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of user-centered design principles and practices.
  • Experience with hospitality industry and enterprise software (desired).
