**Lead Service Designer Role Overview:**We're seeking a highly skilled and innovative Lead Service Designer to join our fast-paced innovation pod. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional to lead the development of new service propositions, working closely with business, technology, and product teams.**Job Description:This role involves uncovering the competitive landscape and market fit for new propositions, owning research methodology and facilitation with users and stakeholders, and challenging existing assumptions to ensure a new proposition integrates with and augments users' day-to-day and mental models.The successful candidate will have demonstrated expertise with systems thinking and creating new optimised ecosystems that balance user, business, and technology priorities. They will be responsible for conducting concept and proposition validation with users and translating actionable insights into the next iteration.In addition, they will provide vision and direction to the team and stakeholders throughout the project and create requirements and share best practice. They will work alongside product teams to plan and prioritise features for rollout based on business objectives.**Key Responsibilities Include:
  • Uncovering the competitive landscape and market fit for a new proposition.
  • Owning research methodology and facilitation with users and stakeholders for a deep understanding of the opportunity space.
  • Demonstrated expertise with systems thinking and creating new optimised ecosystems that balances user, business, and technology priorities.
  • Challenging existing assumptions with behavioural insight and design expertise to ensure a new proposition that integrates with and augments users' day-to-day and mental models.
  • Conducting concept and proposition validation with users and translating actionable insights into the next iteration.
  • Providing vision and direction to the team and stakeholders throughout the project and creating requirements and sharing best practice.
  • Working alongside product teams to plan and prioritise features for rollout based on business objectives.
**Requirements and Qualifications:The ideal candidate will have previous working experience as a Service Designer for 6+ years. They will possess demonstrated ability to think critically, hold complexity, and think across many layers of an organisation or service. Experience working in the financial sector, understanding the nuances of the business, is also required.The candidate should be comfortable interfacing with and getting buy-in with senior stakeholders. A creative thinker who is fearless in challenging the status quo but still holds sharp analytical problem thinking to ground creativity in realistic outcomes is preferred. Proactive do-er with excellent organisational and time management skills, comfortable to iterate and pivot quickly, is essential.Able to work from Hyderabad and co-locate at client offices twice a week. Other nice to haves include experience or curiosity with blockchain and how to leverage its capabilities in new ways, experience working in startups or using lean startup methodologies to test and iterate at pace, and comfortable delving into UX/UI design capabilities as the proposition progresses.
