Are you passionate about guiding students to reach their full potential? As an Academic Mentor, you will play a vital role in shaping the educational experience of young minds.

About the Role:

As a trusted advisor and motivator, you will help students build confidence, develop essential skills, and set ambitious goals. You will work closely with teachers, parents, and counselors to identify areas of strength and challenge, and implement targeted support strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Become a positive influence in students' lives, fostering strong relationships built on trust and respect.
  • Design and lead engaging activities, clubs, and programs that promote academic growth and personal development.
  • Collaborate with education professionals to address student concerns, resolve conflicts, and provide effective interventions.

Academic Performance & Support

  • Monitor student progress, identify areas of improvement, and provide data-driven support to enhance learning outcomes.
  • Conduct regular assessments and evaluations to track student understanding of course material.
  • Work with educators to create customized learning plans for students requiring additional support.

Parent Communication & Collaboration

  • Maintain open communication with parents/guardians to keep them informed about their child's academic and personal development.
  • Organize and participate in parent meetings and conferences to discuss student progress, challenges, and goals.
  • Address parental concerns, offer guidance, and suggest ways they can support their child's education at home.

Data Management & Reporting

  • Accurately record student attendance, grades, assessments, and behavioral observations.
  • Prepare reports and conduct data analysis on student performance and development for internal use and communication with parents and school leadership.
  • Utilize educational software for efficient data tracking and reporting.

  • The ability to analyze student performance data to provide effective support.
  • Proficiency in maintaining accurate records and using educational software for reporting.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree or higher in Education, Psychology, or related field.
  • Experience: 2+ years of experience working with students in an educational setting.
  • Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, data analysis and interpretation, and ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Location: Remote (with occasional on-site visits)
