Job Opportunity:

Electrical Vehicle Integration Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Electrical Vehicle Integration Specialist to join our team.

  • Design and develop electrical systems for IC engine vehicles, including packaging in CAD using Siemens NX software.
  • Perform detailed design reviews to ensure functionality and serviceability.
  • Prepare detailed drawings in PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) tools and release activity at various vehicle stages.
  • Support vehicle programs throughout the entire life cycle, including design, prototype builds, vehicle tests, and production.
  • Understand vehicle electrical architecture and prepare circuit diagrams at the vehicle system level.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams for testing, homologation, vehicle batches, plant, and service.
  • Handle diagnostics and flashing tasks efficiently.
  • Develop technical documents for diagnostic manuals, standard operating procedures, and homologation requirements.
  • Collaborate with field teams for issue resolution on design-specific and quality topics.

Key Requirements:

  • Technical/Functional:
    • Good understanding of basic theories and design concepts of different electronics and electrical components used in IC engine vehicles.
    • Knowledge of electrical system design for alternate fuel vehicles, such as CNG/LPG/Ethanol/hybrid.
    • Software skills: CAD, UG NX or equivalent.
    • Experience with Product Lifecycle Management.
    • Knowledge of applicable standards and regulations and their application for IC engine vehicles.
  • Behavioural:
    • Effective team player.
    • Excellent communication with team and peers.
    • Practice of continuous improvement in all aspects.
  • Specific Expertise:
    • Product Lifecycle Management tool (e.g., Teamcenter).
    • CAD, UG NX or equivalent.
    • Experience in IC engine engine management system architecture development.
    • Knowledge of CAN communication and diagnostic services, e.g., UDS.
