Senior Financial Analyst Role

We are seeking an experienced professional to drive end-to-end accounting, management reporting, and financial/tax processes within a global financial services group. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a trusted organization with a long-standing track record of profitability.

  • P&L Analysis and Risk Assessment: Responsible for P&L analysis, product risk assessment, and financial accounting/reporting, including month-end close and statutory reporting.
  • Compliance and External Auditors: Manage relationships with external auditors and ensure compliance with finance control standards.
  • Process Improvement: Drive process improvement, automation, and standardization initiatives across reporting functions.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and develop a high-performing team of financial analysts, fostering independence and accountability.
  • Project Delivery: Deliver on key projects and support strategic initiatives within finance.
  • Qualifications and Experience: Qualified CA, CFA, or MBA with 10–13 years of relevant post-qualification experience.
  • IFRS Reporting Knowledge: Strong knowledge of IFRS reporting requirements, particularly those applicable to the banking industry.
  • Industry Background: Prior experience in financial analysis, finance control, investment banking middle office, financial services, equity research, or stockbroking.
  • Leadership Experience: Demonstrated leadership experience with proven ability to build and mentor teams.
  • Analytical Mindset: Strong analytical mindset with a focus on accuracy, risk awareness, and continuous improvement.
