**Job Overview**

Rigel Networks is seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team in Bangalore or Chennai. As a key member of our quality assurance department, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest level of quality in our software products.

**Estimated Salary: ₹800,000 - ₹1,200,000 per annum**

**Job Description**

We are looking for an experienced Automation Tester with a strong background in C# and automation testing methodologies. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in testing web services and REST APIs, as well as hands-on experience with various testing tools.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts using C# and Selenium.
  • Perform API testing for web services and REST APIs, ensuring functionality, reliability, and performance.
  • Utilize testing tools such as Fiddler, SOAP UI, and Postman for comprehensive service testing.
  • Collaborate with the development team to understand requirements and define testing strategies.
  • Participate in the development and maintenance of test plans and test cases.
  • Conduct database testing and write SQL queries to create and mine test data.
  • Review and analyze system specifications to identify testing requirements.
  • Report bugs and track defects using appropriate tools.
  • Provide support for regression testing and continuous improvement of testing processes.

**Qualifications:**

  • Mandatory:
    • Solid knowledge and experience in automation testing.
    • Proficiency in C# and Selenium.
    • Experience in API testing, specifically with REST APIs.
    • Hands-on experience with Fiddler, SOAP UI, and Postman.
  • Good to Have:
    • Strong understanding of Software Quality Assurance (SQA) methodologies.
    • Familiarity with Protractor for Angular applications.
    • Good knowledge of databases and SQL, with the ability to create and manipulate data.
