About the Job:

We are seeking a skilled Cloud Support Engineer to join our IT operations team. This critical member will be responsible for implementing, managing, and supporting cloud deployments, systems, and services to ensure high levels of availability, redundancy, and business continuity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement and manage cloud deployments, systems, and services in Azure environment
  • Build and deploy virtual machines, PaaS services, and automation tools
  • Lead and act as SME for Azure platforms (IaaS, Intune/Autopilot) within IT operations team
  • Create deployment guides, standard operating procedures, and knowledge transfers
  • Perform backups, upgrades, performance tuning, monitoring, alerting, deployments, and disaster recovery
  • Implement and conduct weekly, monthly, and quarterly health checks for cloud environment and integration platforms
  • Maintain and update cloud support policies, practices, and methodologies
  • Resolve support tickets within ITSM platform tool; incidents, service requests, problem tickets, and change requests
  • Design, write, and deliver scripts and automation code to improve availability, scalability, reliability, and efficiency of On-prem, Azure Cloud, and application integration platforms

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Technology, or equivalent industry experience
  • Post-secondary education obtained by a community college or one or more professional designations
  • Up to 7 years of experience in Server and Cloud Administration
  • Microsoft Azure Certification (AZ100 or AZ300 preferred)
  • VMWare Virtualization Certification is an asset
