Job Title: Nursing Staff

Job Overview:

We seek a dedicated and compassionate nursing professional to fill this critical role at our hospital.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality patient care, encompassing vital sign monitoring, medication administration, and comfort management.
  • Collaborate with doctors in examinations, procedures, and emergency response scenarios.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, charts, and reports.
  • Administer injections, IV fluids, and dressings as per physician's orders.
  • Prepare patients for diagnostic tests, surgical procedures, and transfers.
  • Monitor post-operative and critically ill patients, reporting any changes promptly.

Clinical Duties:

  • Ensure proper storage, handling, and administration of medications.
  • Inspect and maintain medical supplies, instruments, and equipment in assigned areas.
  • Report malfunctioning or shortage of equipment to the supervisor.

Infection Control, Safety, and Hygiene:

  • Adhere to hospital infection control protocols and universal precautions.
  • Maintain hygiene and cleanliness in wards, ICU, OPD, and other patient areas.
  • Educate patients and attendants on hygiene, nutrition, and discharge care.

Documentation and Reporting:

  • Maintain patient case sheets, nursing notes, and handover reports.
  • Record admissions, discharges, and transfers as per hospital policy.
  • Report adverse events, patient incidents, and near misses to supervisors.

Teamwork and Professionalism:

  • Work collaboratively with doctors, paramedical staff, and hospital administrators.
  • Provide guidance and support to junior nurses and trainees.
  • Demonstrate empathy, compassion, and professionalism at all times.

Requirements:

  • Diploma or degree in nursing from an accredited institution.
  • Current licensure and registration to practice as a registered nurse.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
