Job Title: PureSoftware - ServiceNow Developer - ITSM Module

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced ServiceNow ITSM Developer to join our team at PureSoftware Pvt Ltd. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in ServiceNow development, particularly in the IT Service Management (ITSM) module. Experience with other ServiceNow modules, such as Event Management, AI Ops, and IT Business Management, is a plus.

In this role, you will be responsible for configuring and developing the ServiceNow platform based on business requirements. You will transform business requirements into technical solutions and design, develop, test, and implement ServiceNow solutions in alignment with industry best practices.

As a ServiceNow Developer, you will also be responsible for implementing integrations with other systems and applications using API, Integration Hub, and other integration methods. Additionally, you will mentor and provide technical guidance to a team of ServiceNow administrators and developers.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Configure and develop the ServiceNow platform based on business requirements.
  2. Transform business requirements into technical solutions.
  3. Design, develop, test, and implement ServiceNow solutions in alignment with industry best practices.
  4. Implement integrations with other systems and applications using API, Integration Hub, and other integration methods.
  5. Mentor and provide technical guidance to a team of ServiceNow administrators and developers.
  6. Manage the ServiceNow platform for optimal performance, including monitoring, upgrades, and access.
  7. Respond to complex issues and requests related to ServiceNow.
  8. Troubleshoot reported issues to determine a viable solution.
  9. Escalate to the vendor when needed.
  10. Maintain integrity and security of the system.
  11. Follow the change process and furnish required artifacts.
  12. Prepare and execute test cases (unit and system testing) and work with the team to further build up the automated test suite.
  13. Developing, configuring, and customizing the ServiceNow platform to fit business requirements.
  14. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize business requirements.
  15. Writing clean, efficient, and maintainable code requires expertise to achieve.
  16. Code reviews and quality control checks should be undertaken as part of every project to guarantee maximum efficiency and productivity.
  17. Debugging and fixing technical problems.
  18. Producing and running test cases to guarantee software quality.
  19. Documenting code and application functionality.
  20. Staying abreast of emerging trends and technologies in ServiceNow development ensures your success.
