Database Infrastructure Specialist

Job Overview:
The primary function of this role is to oversee and manage the database infrastructure for an organization. This includes ensuring the smooth operation, scalability, and security of SQL Server environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain high-performing database architectures on SQL Server 2016/2019/2022 platforms.
- Utilize expertise in SSMS and SQL Agent to troubleshoot and resolve complex database issues efficiently.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute database installation, configuration, and backup strategies.
- Develop and optimize stored procedures and SQL jobs for optimal performance and reliability.
- Implement data synchronization using CDC with Debezium/Kafka for real-time data sync and ensure basic knowledge of Always On Availability Groups.
- Monitor database performance and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Develop and maintain databases using version control systems like GitLab/GitHub and CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins.
- Cultivate strong relationships with stakeholders through effective communication and problem-solving skills.
