Database Administrator Job

You will have the opportunity to utilize your expertise in database management and administration. With 6+ years of experience, you will be responsible for ensuring the integrity, security, and performance of complex databases.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Designing and implementing databases to meet business requirements
  • Tuning and optimizing database performance to ensure high availability and scalability
  • Developing and maintaining backup and recovery procedures to protect against data loss
  • Evaluating and implementing data governance and compliance measures to ensure regulatory adherence

A strong understanding of the wider payments sector is essential. Knowledge of UK Payments Infrastructure is beneficial but not mandatory.

Key Requirements:
  • At least 6 years of experience in database administration
  • Proficiency in SQL and analytical skills
  • Understanding of data governance, data quality, and domain management principles
  • Familiarity with the payments sector and its ecosystem
