Connectivity Automation and Validation Specialist

We are seeking an experienced professional to develop and maintain automated test scripts and content to ensure the robustness and reliability of connectivity solutions.

This role involves designing and implementing comprehensive validation plans and test cases to ensure seamless connectivity between devices and networks. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating detailed and practical validation test cases specifically for Modem and GNSS systems, ensuring they cover all necessary scenarios.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in engineering, electronics, or telecommunications, and knowledge of Modem and GNSS technologies, including understanding and knowledge of simulators, test benches, and analysers. Familiarity with standards such as 3GPP and GCF is also required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and Execute Validation Content: Design and implement comprehensive validation plans and test cases to ensure seamless connectivity between devices and networks.
  • Create Comprehensive Test Cases: Develop detailed and practical validation test cases specifically for Modem and GNSS systems, ensuring they cover all necessary scenarios.
  • Define Test Objectives and Scope: Establish clear test objectives, scope, and success criteria to guide the validation process.
  • Hands-On Execution: Actively engage in the hands-on execution of validation activities, including setting up test environments, running tests, and analysing results.
  • Coordinate Validation Activities: Plan and manage the scheduling and execution of validation activities to ensure they are completed on time and meet quality standards.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, electronics, telecommunication, or a related field.
  • Knowledge of Modem and GNSS technologies, including understanding and knowledge of simulators, test benches, and analysers.
  • Familiarity with standards such as 3GPP and GCF.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills, ability to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic business environment.

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in C/C++/Python and experience with test automation frameworks such as PyTest, Robot Framework or RAILS.
  • Familiarity with tools such as Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) Tools: Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI, Version Control Systems: Git, SVN, Issue Tracking and Project Management Tools: JIRA, Confluence.
  • Knowledge of air interfaces such as CDMA2000, GERAN, WCDMA, TD-SCDMA, LTE FDD/TDD, or CRAT.
