Senior Geospatial Data Analyst Position

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to contribute to our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in enhancing our processes and achieving tangible business impacts.
">Our team is responsible for Data Analysis and Management, where we conduct comprehensive spatial data analysis using GIS software, ArcGIS and QGIS. We manage, manipulate and analyze large datasets to produce high-quality map content and actionable insights.
">In addition, we focus on Programming and Automation, where we develop and implement Python and R scripts for data processing and analysis tasks. We utilize machine learning and AI techniques to improve data accuracy and predictive capabilities.
">Furthermore, we aim to improve Process Efficiency and Development. We translate process efficiency concepts into development strategies and implement efficiency enhancements that lead to significant time and effort savings. We continuously evaluate and improve workflows to optimize data processing and analysis.
">Our team also focuses on Tool and Application Development. We develop custom GIS tools and applications to support various business needs. We utilize FME, Feature Manipulation Engine, for data transformation and integration tasks.
">Collaboration and Support are key aspects of our role. We work closely with cross-functional teams to support data-driven decision-making. We provide technical support and training to team members on GIS and data analysis tools and methodologies.
">Finally, we ensure the accuracy and quality of spatial data and map content through Quality Assurance. We implement quality control measures and perform regular data audits.
">To excel in this role, you will need:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Geography, GIS, Computer Science, Data Science or a related field.">
- Proven experience in GIS data analysis and management.">
- Proficiency in GIS software such as ArcGIS and QGIS.">
- Advanced programming skills in Python and R.">
- Experience with machine learning, AI and data science techniques.">
- Knowledge of FME, Feature Manipulation Engine, is an added advantage.">
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills.">
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.">
You will have minimum six years experience in the GIS domain with reasonable experience in python scripting. You will be working with large datasets and creating automated processes for data management and analysis. Agile certifications such as KMP and CSM and advanced technical skills in FME and ARCGIS are preferred. Expertise in JIRA, Tableau, PowerBI, Confluence and Miro-board is also desired.
