Cloud Computing Expert

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Computing Expert to provide expert advice on cloud-based solutions and ensure seamless integration of cloud services with our existing IT infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical guidance on cloud architecture and design, ensuring scalability, security, and reliability.
  • Assess and recommend cloud-based solutions that meet business requirements, taking into account factors such as cost, performance, and security.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement cloud-based systems, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of emerging trends and technologies in cloud computing, staying up-to-date with industry developments and advancements.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including senior management, technical teams, and external partners, to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Identify and mitigate risks associated with cloud adoption, ensuring compliance with organizational policies and regulatory requirements.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Several years of administration experience in IT infrastructure.
  • Experience with different types of public clouds like AWS, Azure, and GCP.
  • Experience in public cloud storage types and technology.
  • Experience in scripting (e.g., bash) and other programming languages like Python.
  • Knowledge in cloud backup solutions.
  • Knowledge in different types of backup mechanisms like snapshot, backint in HANA, file dump, etc.
  • Knowledge in encryption of data is an added advantage.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and knowledge to adapt and learn quickly in a changing environment.
  • Highly structured and organized, with excellent communication skills.
  • High ambition, drive, and focus on results and execution.
