Teaching and Research Position in Computer Science

We are seeking an accomplished academic to join our faculty at the School of Engineering & Technology. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching, mentoring students, conducting research, and contributing to curriculum development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead educational initiatives in coordination with senior administrators, ensuring alignment with departmental and institutional objectives.
  • Develop and deliver courses in various topics related to Computer Science.
  • Evaluate existing courses, assessing their relevance and suggesting improvements within established guidelines.
  • Design and implement student learning outcomes and assessment activities at the program and course levels.
  • Create new courses based on industry requirements, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Optimize enrollment to maximize faculty loads and space resources, particularly general-purpose classrooms and labs.
  • Foster and enhance research within the school, guiding students and/or projects.
  • Share best practices from other institutions and adopt innovative approaches.
  • Evaluate assessment criteria and suggest changes as needed.
  • Lead audits and investigations as required.
  • Maintain a positive work environment, upholding strong ethical standards and promoting a culture of excellence.
  • Participate in admission processes from inception to execution in conjunction with relevant stakeholders.
  • Provide guidance to students in their academic pursuits, advising on major selection, final project completion, and career development.
  • Stay current with advancements in Computer Science and new research emerging in the field.
  • Serve on department committees as assigned by senior administrators, ensuring timely achievement of committee goals.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Ph.D. Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology.
  • B.Tech and M.Tech degrees in Computer Science or Information Technology.
  • Expertise in Deep Learning, Machine Learning, AI, Data Science.
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in teaching and industry.
