System Administrator Role

We are seeking an experienced professional to manage our Linux server environment.

  • This role involves overseeing daily compute operations, handling server lifecycle tasks, and managing storage operations.
  • The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Linux OS administration, knowledge of hypervisors, and exposure to cloud platforms and automation tools.

Routine tasks include:

  • Manage events, incidents, service requests, and change requests in line with ITIL processes.
  • Perform server installation, maintenance, monitoring, decommissioning, and special configurations beyond automation.
  • Handle storage operations using NetApp-NFS.
  • Manage packages, repositories, and OS images.
  • Execute patch management using BladeLogic Automation.
  • Configure and roll out server monitoring and alerts.
  • Conduct performance testing and analysis.
  • Prepare documentation, testing reports, quality reviews, and knowledge transfer material.

Key requirements for success include:

  • 4–8 years of experience in Server Management & Administration (Linux).
  • Ability to transfer knowledge to 2nd-level support teams.
  • Participate in On-Call support, including weekends and public holidays, as per project requirements.
