Senior Data Architect Role Overview

We are seeking an exceptional Senior Data Architect to spearhead the design, implementation, and optimization of a robust data warehousing platform for the pharmaceutical industry.

The ideal candidate will possess in-depth knowledge of data architecture and management, with expertise in designing logical and physical data models to ensure efficient data storage and retrieval. Strong experience with ETL processes, infrastructure design, and data governance is also essential.

A key aspect of this role involves ensuring seamless integration of diverse data sources, maintaining high standards of data quality and governance, and enabling advanced analytics through the definition and management of semantic and common data layers.

The selected individual will have the opportunity to work closely with IT, data scientists, and business analysts to ensure the data warehouse supports various analytical and operational needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement efficient data storage solutions.
  • Develop and optimize ETL processes for accurate and efficient data transfer.
  • Plan and implement technical infrastructure, including hardware, software, and network components.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and implement data governance policies.
  • Monitor and improve the performance of the data warehouse.
  • Define and manage semantic layer architecture and technology stack.
  • Integrate data from multiple sources into a centralized repository.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in data architecture and data warehousing.
  • Strong knowledge of data modelling, ETL processes, and infrastructure design.
  • Experience with data governance and regulatory compliance.
  • Proficiency in using Axtria DataMAx or similar data management products.
