Job Title: Resource Mobilisation Specialist

The Nightingales Medical Trust is seeking a dynamic individual with excellent communication and fundraising skills to support the Fundraising and Partnership team in identifying donor resources, raising funds, and writing proposals for long-term sustainability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement annual and long-term fundraising strategies aligned with organisational vision and mission.
  • Undertake market research and maintain track of existing and potential donor companies and organisations.
  • Identify opportunities for partnership through scanning, networking, advocacy and policy work.
  • Compile and maintain database of donor organisations offering donations.
  • Regularly monitor donor websites and identify inform donor opportunities matching organisational needs.
  • Identify and cultivate new donors including corporates, foundations, and institutional funders.
  • Work collaboratively with program team to develop proposals that match organisational needs with funder priorities.
  • Develop concept notes, pitch deck, project ideas, and project proposals ensuring timely submission.
  • Stay abreast of literature and developments in field to ensure proposals are current and identify new opportunities.
  • Plan and execute fundraising campaigns and donor events.
  • Lead proposal writing and concept notes for government, CSR, and grant funding.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with donors through regular engagement and acknowledgment.
  • Develop, review, and strengthen resource mobilisation policies and processes.
  • Work closely with communications team for fundraising campaigns, reports, and social media content.
  • Assist in developing business plans to generate income from various sources.
  • Regularly review partnership status, risks, and issues with team.
  • Improve and develop communications material for organisation.
  • Organise or provide assistance in organising fundraising events.
  • Ensure fundraising activities comply with laws.
  • Manage donor reporting and periodic reports on fundraising.
  • Work closely with supervisor on setting priorities, directions, and responding to requests.
  • Perform other activities assigned by supervisor to achieve organisational goals.
