Lowe's is a leading retailer that drives its technology, business, analytics, and shared services strategy from India. We are a team of innovators who power innovations across omnichannel retail, AI/ML, enterprise architecture, supply chain, and customer experience.

We support pricing managers and merchants in defining and optimizing the pricing strategies for various product categories across channels. Our team leverages advanced analytics to forecast/measure the impact of pricing actions, develop strategic price zones, recommend price changes, and identify sales/margin opportunities to achieve company targets.

The role is responsible for strategic price test development, data-driven price change recommendation & measurement, and ad hoc work supporting Lowe's strategic pricing efforts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide cluster-specific data analytics, including development and deployment of necessary dashboards, reporting & insights.
  • Research, design, and develop applicable statistical approaches/models for specific business problems (Price Testing, Price Change, Post Mortem & Category review).
  • Design and develop processes to gather, explore, structure, enrich, and clean large datasets from various internal and external sources.
  • Analyze Competitor demographics & performance for pricing across key categories.
  • Develop executive-ready presentations synthesizing multiple data sets to effect a new decision related to Pricing.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree plus 3+ years' experience in an analytical role OR 6+ years of relevant experience in a professional environment.
  • Strong analytical skills with demonstrated ability to accumulate, evaluate, and generate insights from disparate data sources.
  • Story building with data – Presentations that depict results in a way that can be shared across levels & actionable insights.

Skill Set Required:

  • Data mining and visualization tool such as Power BI, Excel, GCP, and SQL (ETL)
  • Statistical concepts/modeling
  • Process Improvement/Automation experience
