About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Senior GCP Data Engineer, where you will play a key role in designing and developing data pipelines on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). As a seasoned professional, you will be responsible for implementing data storage solutions and optimizing data processing workflows.

Main Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement scalable data architectures on GCP, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and deploy efficient data pipelines, leveraging tools like BigQuery, Dataflow, and Cloud Functions.
  • Maintain high-quality data infrastructure, troubleshooting and resolving issues promptly.
  • Work closely with data scientists and analysts to understand business requirements and develop tailored data solutions.
Requirements

To succeed in this challenging role, you must possess:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Data Engineer, with expertise in GCP and its associated services.
  • Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts, ETL processes, and cloud-based technologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, coupled with strong communication and collaboration abilities.
Technical Skills

Familiarity with GCP tools, including Python, SQL, Data Flow, DataStream, Change Data Capture (CDC), Cloud Functions, Cloud Run, Pub Sub, BigQuery, and Cloud Storage is essential.
