Job Title: Strategic Data Architect

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and innovative Senior Data Architect to join our organization. This role involves designing and implementing data pipelines to meet business requirements, integrating Big Data tools and frameworks for data storage and processing, and developing detailed designs for complex technical and functional requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement data architectures that meet business objectives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate data systems and ensure seamless data flow.
  • Develop and maintain detailed designs for data infrastructure, including data warehouses and data lakes.
  • Analyze alternative solutions for data storing, processing, and serving.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentor junior staff.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Strong understanding of data warehousing and data modeling techniques.
  • Proficient understanding of distributed computing principles - Hadoop v2, MapReduce, HDFS.
  • Expertise in GCP cloud platforms - Airflow, Cloud Composer, Data Fusion, Data Flow, Data Proc, Big Query.
  • Experience with stream-processing systems using Storm or Spark- Streaming.
  • Good knowledge of Big Data querying tools - Pig, Hive, Impala.
  • Experience with Spark, SQL, Linux.
  • Knowledge of ETL techniques and frameworks - Flume, Apache NiFi, DBT.
  • Experience with messaging systems - Kafka or RabbitMQ.
  • Understanding of Lambda Architecture.
