Job Title: Senior Analyst - SurveillanceAbout the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Analyst to join our EMEA Surveillance team in Bangalore, India. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in safeguarding MUFG EMEA's assets, employees, clients and reputation by ensuring strict adherence to regulatory requirements, compliance standards and internal policies.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in surveillance, risk management and compliance, with excellent analytical and communication skills. You will be responsible for reviewing and closing electronic and audio communication alerts for the EMEA region, working closely with onshore Surveillance teams and the EMEA Head of Surveillance to drive the enhancement and improvement of the communication surveillance program.

Responsibilities:
  • Review and analyze alerts generated from automated electronic communication surveillance systems to detect potential violations of MUFG policies and applicable rules and regulations.
  • Perform audio surveillance by listening to voice communications of recorded MUFG employees to detect potential violations of MUFG policies and applicable rules and regulations.
  • Closing alerts, properly documenting rationales with accurate, complete and organized written commentary for audit trail.
  • Adhere to written operating procedures for each of the reviews they're responsible.
  • Drive the enhancement and improvement of the communication surveillance program from both an effectiveness and efficiency perspective.
