Job Title: Senior Java Backend Developer

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Java Backend Developer to join our team at HuQuo Consulting Pvt. Ltd. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Java development, with experience in designing, coding, testing, debugging, optimizing, and documenting complex web and middleware applications using Spring and Hibernate.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop enterprise-level applications using Java 8/J2EE, Spring, and Hibernate.
  • Work on complex software engineering problems, learn new skills, and build expertise in areas of interest.
  • Develop all layers of enterprise applications and get involved in DevOps activities for end-to-end involvement.
  • Provide direction and support to junior developers to help them understand complex software engineering concepts.
  • Participate in Scrum activities, including code reviews, unit testing, research spikes, and supporting company architectural standards.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in Java development.
  • Strong knowledge of Spring, Hibernate, and Java 8/J2EE.
  • Experience with cloud and distributed systems, including Docker and GCP.
  • Good understanding of design patterns, common concepts such as caching, logging, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.
  • Exposure to agile development best practices and scrum exposure.
  • Fast learner with ability to perform well in ambiguity and with little supervision.
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills, with experience in client-facing roles.

Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or IT.
