Job Title: Java Backend Developer

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Java Backend Developer to join our team at Publicis Sapient. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying scalable and efficient backend systems using Java.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop high-quality Java code for backend systems, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality results.
  • Develop and maintain complex Java applications, including microservices and Spring Boot, using design patterns and principles.
  • Work with databases, including RDBMS and NoSQL, to design and implement efficient data storage and retrieval solutions.
  • Implement RESTful web services and APIs, ensuring secure and efficient data exchange.
  • Develop and maintain unit tests using JUnit and Mockito, ensuring high-quality code and robust testing.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot system performance, using tools like Splunk, Grafana, and ELK.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest Java technologies and trends, applying new knowledge to improve system design and development.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in Java development, with a strong focus on backend systems.
  • Experience with microservices, Spring Boot, and design patterns.
  • Strong understanding of Java memory management, including garbage collection and concurrency.
  • Experience with databases, including RDBMS and NoSQL, and SQL query development.
  • Hands-on experience with RESTful web services, APIs, and logging frameworks.
  • Experience with monitoring tools and cloud platforms, such as Azure.
