Technical Project Manager Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Technical Project Manager to lead and manage cross-functional engineering teams in delivering high-quality software projects.

This role requires both technical insight and project management expertise. The ideal candidate will have previous experience as a software developer, proficiency in one or more programming languages, and hands-on exposure to software delivery processes.

The successful candidate will serve as the bridge between technical teams and business stakeholders, translating business requirements into technical solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage cross-functional engineering teams to deliver high-quality software projects.
  • Serve as the bridge between technical teams and business stakeholders.
  • Own the software development lifecycle (SDLC), ensuring Agile best practices are followed.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • At least 8 years of experience, with at least 4 years in a project management or Scrum Master role, and prior experience as a software developer.
  • Strong command over at least one programming language or framework.
  • Deep understanding of system architecture, APIs, and development pipelines.
  • Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), PMI-ACP, or equivalent Agile certification is mandatory.
  • Proficiency with project management tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Trello, or Azure DevOps.
  • Strong stakeholder communication, team leadership, and problem-solving skills.

Job Requirements :

- Oversee task breakdowns, sprint tracking, effort estimations, and timelines.

- Collaborate with developers and architects to ensure alignment of technical design with business objectives.

- Monitor engineering progress using JIRA or equivalent Agile tools.

- Ensure integration of DevOps practices, testing strategies, and release management.
