Job Title: Software Quality Assurance Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented QA specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of ensuring quality throughout the development lifecycle, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and delivering high-quality test cases for web and mobile platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and analyze system specifications and business requirements to identify potential issues.
  • Collaborate with developers and product managers to resolve defects and improve overall quality.
  • Design and execute test cases for e-commerce features, including regression, functional, integration, and UI testing.
  • Identify, document, and track bugs using tools like JIRA or similar.
  • Validate fixes and conduct re-testing as needed.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless delivery of software products.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 5–7 years of experience in software quality assurance or a related field.
  • Proven experience testing e-commerce platforms or applications.
  • Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and defect lifecycle.
  • Hands-on experience with test case management tools.
  • Experience working with issue tracking tools like JIRA.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Familiarity with cross-browser and mobile testing.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience in API testing using Postman or similar tools.
  • Familiarity with databases and ability to write basic SQL queries.
  • Knowledge of automation tools is a plus but not required.
  • Exposure to platforms like Shopify, Magento, WooCommerce, or custom-built e-commerce systems.
