Job Summary:

This position is responsible for overseeing all operational activities in the Enterprise Risk Management function.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive Enterprise Risk Management framework across the organization.
  • Design and implement a robust internal control system to mitigate risks effectively.
  • Identify, evaluate, and document control weaknesses and deficiencies; and develop recommendations for risk mitigation and improvement.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date Risk Registers.
  • Conduct regular reviews of business processes, identify control gaps, and develop recommendations for risk mitigation and improvement.
  • Update the Enterprise Risk Policy to reflect best practice and accommodate changing regulatory and strategic scenarios.
  • Collaborate with Principal Risk Owners to identify key risks and mitigating controls in their business units, as well as action plans to address any gaps in the mitigating measures identified.
  • Prepare comprehensive reports for senior management and Board Committees.
  • Develop an integrated risk reporting framework to enable focused attention on critical risks.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Graduate degree in finance, management, or risk management from a reputable institution. Certifications like FRM, CFA, CBCP are preferred.

Essential Skills:

  • Strong understanding of Exchange ecosystem and operations.

Functional Competencies:

  • Principles of risk management.
  • Strong knowledge of risk identification, assessment, and management frameworks.
  • Ability to design and evaluate the effectiveness of controls embedded within business processes.
  • Familiarity with risk and governance standards such as COSO framework and Basel Corporate Governance Principles.
