Senior Director, Product Design

About the Opportunity

Lead a design team and set a vision for user experience across products.

Responsibilities:

  • Define a consistent design strategy to ensure a high-quality user experience across all products
  • Grow and mentor a team of product designers, fostering creativity and collaboration
  • Engage in client discussions to shape design strategy and translate needs into actionable insights
  • Establish and streamline design operations to support scale, consistency, and quality
  • Collaborate with cross-functional leaders to align on product strategy, goals, and roadmaps
  • Advocate for the user through research, testing, and feedback, ensuring design decisions are informed by user needs and behaviors

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Design, HCI, or a related field, or equivalent
  • 12+ years of experience in product design within a technology or product-centric company
  • Proven experience leading a team of designers who design and ship AI-powered products or features
  • Expertise in qualitative and quantitative research methodologies
  • Excellent relationship management skills working in a technical environment
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, agile environment

Preferred Skills:

  • Previous experience working on AI-powered products
