Our organization is seeking a seasoned backend developer to lead the implementation of our system's backend services.

The Opportunity
  • Develop and enhance backend features using advanced coding techniques.
  • Design and implement secure transactional business logic for financial workflows (e.g., onboarding, withdrawals).
  • Maintain and optimize PostgreSQL database schemas, migrations, and queries.
  • Integrate with external APIs securely (OAuth2, JWT) ensuring seamless data exchange.
  • Improve existing systems for performance, reliability, and audit requirements.

This role is a full-time engagement focused on core features, transactions, and secure APIs powering a product catering to real customers and regulatory oversight.

Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in backend development, preferably in financial services.
  • Strong skills in modern programming languages, proficient from day one.
  • Familiarity with cloud-based platforms, serverless architecture, and AWS Lambda.
  • Hands-on experience with database design, schema optimization, and query performance tuning.
  • Solid understanding of building robust, documented REST APIs.
  • Able to work independently and effectively communicate technical concepts.
