Cloud Backend Engineer Job Description

The Senior Cloud Dev Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing and maintaining backend infrastructure for PaaS. This includes enabling scalable, cloud-native and elastic graph database services.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop backend infrastructure for PaaS
  • Contribute to SaaS feature development, architecture design and operational support for enterprise-grade deployments
  • Maintain and improve the SaaS product Cloud Billing
  • Manage Cloud org/user management
  • Monitor and alert on Cloud stack/DB issues
  • Develop and maintain Cloud GUI (admin portal, graph insights)
  • Manage Cloud Kubernetes Management
  • Key Requirements:
  • Proficient in at least one of Go, Java, C++, Python or C
  • Experience with building microservice architectures and large-scale distributed systems
  • Knowledge of relational databases such as MySQL, Postgres or equivalent
  • Proficient in AWS/GCP tech stack
  • Linux/Unix systems and scripting experience
  • Knowledge of K8S and cloud computing
  • Nice to Have:
  • Experience with container technologies and Kubernetes
  • Familiarity with cloud operations and ability to respond to operational issues
  • Cloud platform certifications (AWS, Azure, GCP)
