Highly skilled Senior Backend Engineer required to design, build, and maintain scalable server-side applications and APIs.

The ideal candidate will possess strong coding expertise, system design skills, and experience in building high-performance backend systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design scalable, secure, and high-performance backend services & APIs
  • Implement server-side logic, databases & data storage solutions
  • Optimize database schemas, queries & indexes for efficiency
  • Diagnose & resolve performance bottlenecks; implement caching & load balancing
  • Ensure backend security against common threats (SQL injection, XSS, etc.)
  • Collaborate with frontend, DevOps, and product teams
  • Mentor junior developers & ensure coding best practices
  • Develop & run unit, integration & performance tests
  • Monitor systems, troubleshoot issues & maintain uptime reliability

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in Python, Java, Go, or Rust programming languages
  • Strong experience with SQL & NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Redis)
  • Expertise in RESTful & GraphQL API design
  • Knowledge of microservices architecture & containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) & CI/CD pipelines
  • Solid understanding of Git, version control & branching strategies
  • Excellent problem-solving, collaboration, and leadership skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with distributed systems & event-driven architectures
  • Familiarity with Kafka, RabbitMQ, Redis, Memcached
  • Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform / Ansible
  • Exposure to frameworks such as Django, Flask, Spring Boot, Go Micro
