We are seeking an experienced professional to fill a critical role in our Procurement Operations team. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of managing procurement processes, from purchase requisitions to purchase orders and contract drafting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day procurement operations processes, including PR to PO conversion, fixed asset creation and capitalization, supplier re-certification, contract drafting and system updates.
  • Contribute to key performance metrics of the team, including SLA, quality and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with category managers, accounts payable, vendor risk management office, corporate ethics and compliance teams, information security and privacy and contingent workforce program team to drive issue resolution and process improvements.
  • Redline legal clauses and handle customer issues along the contract execution path.
  • Document processes, build and maintain desktop procedures (DTPs).
  • Analyze data and act within the realm of activities as a buyer.
  • Build and publish weekly/monthly reports for the team and represent the team on various internal forums.
  • Handle customer relationships effectively by resolving user queries on time and with accuracy, building awareness of common pitfalls and conducting periodic or need-based reviews with key partners.

Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree in any subject area. A master's degree is desirable.
  • Around 5-7 years of validated experience in procurement operations with exposure to both product and services procurement in at least two categories mentioned above.
  • A thorough knowledge of procurement processes and exposure to P2P tools like Ariba/Coupa and ERP systems like SAP/Oracle.
  • Experience in contract drafting, collaborating with legal and knowledge of legal terms in a contract is advantageous.
  • Working experience in multi-cultural/multi-region shared services or procurement organization is beneficial.
  • Exposure to reporting and metrics tools like Tableau/Power BI is desirable.
  • Solid understanding of intermediate to advanced Excel and professional level proficiency in English is required.
