Job Summary:

The Purchase Data Analyst plays a pivotal role in preparing, maintaining, and analyzing purchase-related data and reports to ensure accuracy in purchase records, support procurement planning, track vendor performance, and provide actionable insights to management for cost control and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collect, maintain, and update all purchase data in the Management Information System (MIS).
  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly purchase reports, including Purchase Requests (PR), Purchase Orders (PO), Goods Received Notes (GRN), and pending orders.
  • Track vendor-wise, material-wise, and category-wise purchase details.
  • Monitor purchase requisitions, purchase orders, and delivery schedules.
  • C Coordinate with the purchase procurement team for timely data collection.
  • Analyze purchase trends, cost variations, and supplier performance.
  • Prepare comparative statements for procurement decision-making.
  • Ensure accuracy and timely entry of purchase data in ERP/MIS.
  • Support budget tracking and cost-saving analysis.
  • Maintain records of contracts, agreements, and vendor databases.
  • Provide management with insights on inventory levels, stock-outs, and procurement delays.
Skills & Competencies:
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Pivot Table, VLOOKUP, and MIS dashboards.
  • Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software, SAP, Oracle, Tally, or similar.

Requirements:

  • Graduate in Commerce, Business Administration, Supply Chain, or equivalent.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in MIS-Purchase, Procurement support role.
