- Active participation in audits and financial monitoring reviews conducted throughout the year across our Head Office and Associate Organizations.
- Planning, sampling, attending kick-off meetings, review meetings, and closure meetings for finalizing internal audit reports with external audit firms.
- Preparing annual budgets and audit coverage scopes for all engagements.
- Conducting independent financial reviews of projects supported by our organization, including visits to locations, identifying areas of concern, and ensuring funds are utilized as sanctioned.
- Guiding teams and providing practical solutions to issues encountered by stakeholders.
- Streamlining processes and assisting in the roll-out of standard operating procedures as required.
- Rigorous follow-up with stakeholders for submission of data for closure of open audit paras, validating submissions, and formal closure with external auditors.
- Maintaining real-time updated management information systems (MIS) for open audit paras and sharing data with stakeholders regularly.
- Continuous review of IT applications and systems used across the organization.
- Interpretation of statutory and regulatory changes and assisting in defining policies to be implemented.
- Preparing reports and presentations for organizational management as required.
- Maintaining cordial professional relationships with external auditors and other agencies.
