We are seeking a highly skilled Field Application Scientist to provide expert support to our customers in-person and remotely. This role involves delivering technical application support, training, and presentations to customers on various products including flow cytometers, microscopy platforms, and more.

This position requires strong scientific knowledge, exceptional problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently as well as in a team. The ideal candidate will have a PhD or master's degree in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, or an associated field, with over 5 years of wet lab experience in requested technologies.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Deliver on-site and remote scientific application support & training support to customers
  • Perform customer-facing presentations & product demonstrations
  • Diagnose & resolve product performance problems and customer queries/complaints
  • Work with sales representatives on sales calls to give technical and applications assistance
  • Assist regional sales teams in developing accounts by giving technical seminars and presentations

The successful candidate will be able to maintain up-to-date technical expertise and in-depth knowledge of our product portfolio and scientific developments. They will also have good digital literacy, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to connect with and support people optimally.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • PhD or master's degree in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, or associated field
  • Over 5 years of wet lab experience in requested technologies
  • Experience in presenting technical materials in written and verbal form
