We are seeking a skilled Medical Communications Specialist to join our team. As a Medical Communications Specialist, you will play a key role in developing high-quality scientific and medical content for our clients.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in medicine, life sciences, or a related field, with experience in writing and reviewing scientific/medical communications for medical affairs or biopharma. You will be responsible for creating engaging and informative content that meets the needs of our clients and their audiences.
In this role, you will work closely with our team to develop content strategies, write and edit content, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to bring projects to life. You will also be responsible for maintaining up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, regulations, and best practices in medical communications.

Key Responsibilities- Develop high-quality scientific and medical content for clients, including articles, brochures, presentations, and other materials
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop content strategies and bring projects to life
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, regulations, and best practices in medical communications
- Write and edit content for various formats and channels, including print, digital, and social media
- Ensure all content meets client requirements and regulatory standards
- PhD/MD in medicine, life sciences, health sciences, pharmacy, pharmacology; MPharm/MSc with a good understanding of clinical research and medical communication
- 7-10 years of experience in writing and reviewing scientific/medical communications for medical affairs or biopharma
- Clear, concise scientific writing with strong attention to detail and language skills
- Strong ability to interpret, evaluate, and present scientific data clearly and concisely
- Good understanding of biostatistics, MS Office, and literature review, with a keen eye for synthesizing complex information
- Skilled in developing digital content to enhance scientific publications and support medical communications
- Experienced in organizing and contributing to congresses and advisory board meetings
- Excellent communicator adept at simplifying complex ideas for diverse audiences
- Strong relationship-building and negotiation skills within cross-functional and matrix teams
- Effective leader with experience mentoring and developing junior writers
- Highly organized and accountable, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
- Resilient under pressure, adaptable to shifting demands, and supportive of team success
