Policy Strategist Role

This role involves developing and implementing policies that align with our business objectives.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the policy climate in India, as well as the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at senior levels.

They will be responsible for monitoring legislative and regulatory developments, identifying emerging opportunities and challenges, and providing strategic insights to senior leadership.

  • Develop and implement policy strategies that drive business growth.
  • Represent our interests with government bodies, industry associations, and other stakeholders.
  • Provide direction and guidance on key policy matters.

Additionally, they will be expected to build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, both within and outside the organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and analyse legislation and regulations affecting the business.
  • Develop strategic recommendations for senior leadership on key policy matters.
  • Build and maintain effective stakeholder relationships.
  • Identify and address emerging issues impacting the business.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in public policy and regulatory affairs.
  • Strong network of stakeholders with ability to interact at senior levels.
  • Extensive understanding of Indian policy climate and global perspective.
  • Ability to anticipate emerging issues and develop effective strategies.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Sound business judgment and practical approach to policy development.
