Regenerative Agriculture Leader

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Regenerative Agriculture Leader to head our team as a Cluster Head. This challenging and rewarding role requires strong leadership skills, technical knowledge, and the ability to work closely with sales teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead production & operations for the cluster.
  • Responsible for production planning, logistics, and customer delivery metrics in the cluster.
  • Work very closely with the sales team to get market forecasts and plan production to provide continuous supply of SKUs as needed by consumers.
  • Execute contracting farming activities with network farmers, in compliance with best practices.
  • Mobilize and finalize suitable farmers, which are roped in by contract farming staff, motivate, train, and guide them for taking up regenerative organic production as per UFCo protocols.
  • Monitor all farming activities to ensure that practices are followed and no chemical usage is carried out.
  • Manage activities of collection centers at each RAC – receiving vegetables from network farmers, sorting, grading, and storage.
  • Ensure produce quality and work closely with operations teams to supply produce to collection centers/distribution centers.
  • Plan RAC level input production as per vegetable production plans.
  • Work with technical teams to execute practices as per the latest science in regenerative agriculture and provide feedback from the field to the technical center of excellence.
  • Budget planning and cost optimization of all activities.
  • Explore opportunities for expanding across multiple locations in the same region.

This role requires a minimum of 7 years of experience in a similar role. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of regenerative agriculture practices.

Requirements:
  • 7+ years of experience in agronomy or a related field.
