We are seeking a skilled Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team.
This role involves ensuring the quality of our OTT platforms by developing, executing, and maintaining manual and automated test cases. You will also be responsible for testing video streaming workflows, validating content delivery across multiple platforms, and identifying defects using tools like Jira or Bugzilla.
To succeed in this role, you will need 6+ years of experience as a QA Engineer, with at least 1-2 years in the OTT or media streaming industry. You should have a strong understanding of video streaming protocols (HLS, DASH) and OTT platform testing requirements.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, execute, and maintain manual and automated test cases for OTT platforms.
- Test video streaming workflows, including encoding, packaging, and delivery.
- Validate content delivery across multiple platforms and CDNs.
- Perform functional, regression, performance, and compatibility testing for OTT applications.
- Identify, document, and track defects using tools like Jira or Bugzilla.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality releases.
Requirements:
- Strong understanding of video streaming protocols (HLS, DASH).
- Experience in the OTT or media streaming industry.
- Knowledge of OTT platform testing requirements.
- Familiarity with test automation frameworks using tools like Selenium, Appium, or custom Python scripts.
- Ability to work closely with cross-functional teams.
