Network Engineer Position

We are seeking an experienced Network Engineer to design and optimize multi-technology networks (2G–5G) at Lepton Software.

The ideal candidate will bring strong technical expertise in network planning, link budget modeling and optimization, along with proven experience in stakeholder communication and team collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Resolve customer issues related to network planning & optimization, licensing, upgrades and technical support.
  • Design and optimize networks (2G, 3G, 4G, LTE, 5G) using macro-cell sites.
  • Take technical ownership of network planning & optimization tools and solutions.
  • Develop and manage end-to-end project activity schedules, ensuring timely delivery of planned and unplanned tasks.
  • Generate reports for project status and progress; maintain PAN India rollout and coverage delivery reports across 2G–5G on a monthly basis.
  • Handle regulatory and standards-related deliverables, including DoT, TRAI and other compliance reports.
  • Manage and train internal teams on tools like GIS and UGIS.
  • Publish dashboards regularly for management (daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly) and submit regulatory reporting.
Qualification and Skillset:
  • 5 years in GIS related activities
  • Expertise in network planning & optimization
  • Excellent knowledge of NR, LTE & GSM fundamentals & Architecture
  • Knowledge of Map Info & QGIS
  • Knowledge of 2G, 4G & 5G technologies
  • Excellent Numerical & Analytical Skills
  • Proficient in Excel, Word & Power point
  • Knowledge of Data Modelling, Data Cleansing & Data Enrichment Techniques
  • Capacity to develop & document procedure & workflows
  • Able to carry our data quality control, validation & linkages
  • An understanding of data protection issue
  • Ability to produce clear graphical / map representation and data visualizations
