Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Network Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a key member of the organization, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation, optimization, and security of our network systems.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of network infrastructures and expertise in supporting complex network environments. You will be responsible for troubleshooting and resolving high-level network issues, managing critical network infrastructure, and supporting network projects.

  • Provide technical support for network-related issues across LAN, WAN, and Data Center environments.
  • Configure, monitor, and maintain networking equipment.
  • Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve complex network performance and connectivity issues.
  • Utilize diagnostic tools such as Wireshark and SolarWinds to identify problems and optimize network performance.
  • Implement and manage security solutions to safeguard the network infrastructure.
  • Assist in the design, planning, and execution of network upgrades, migrations, and deployments.
  • Support and troubleshoot network devices, cabling, routing protocols, and network topologies.
  • Collaborate with other teams to ensure smooth network operations and resolve cross-functional issues.
  • Maintain detailed documentation for network configurations and best practices.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging networking technologies and industry trends.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proficiency with Networking Equipment: Strong hands-on experience with configuring and managing switches and routers.
  • Network Troubleshooting: Ability to identify and resolve complex network issues effectively.
  • Diagnostic Tools: Expertise in using diagnostic and monitoring tools for network analysis and troubleshooting.
  • Security Knowledge: Deep understanding of network security and security mechanisms to ensure network integrity and confidentiality.
  • Network Architecture: Knowledge of LAN, WAN, and Data Center network architectures and their respective protocols.
  • Experience with Routing Protocols: Strong understanding of common routing protocols.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills for diagnosing and resolving complex network issues.
  • Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills to interact with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Team Collaboration: Ability to work effectively in a team environment, providing leadership and guidance as needed.
