PHP Developer

We're looking for a skilled PHP Developer to design, develop and maintain web applications using PHP and related technologies.

Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop and maintain PHP-based web applications and websites.
  • Write clean, efficient and well-documented code adhering to industry best practices.
  • Design, develop and implement custom WordPress themes and plugins to meet specific client requirements ensuring high performance and scalability.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve software bugs and performance issues.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement new features and solutions.
  • Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
  • Optimize application performance and scalability ensuring seamless user experience.
  • Develop and maintain databases write and optimize SQL queries and ensure efficient data storage and retrieval.
  • Stay updated with the latest PHP web development trends and technologies.
  • Implement security measures and ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Produce and maintain comprehensive technical documentation.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 3-4 years of hands-on experience in PHP and WordPress Development.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science Information Technology or a related field or equivalent work experience.
  • Proficiency in PHP including experience with frameworks such as WordPress or Laravel.
  • Strong understanding of front-end technologies like HTML CSS and JavaScript for seamless integration of user-facing elements.
  • Experience with database management systems like MySQL or PostgreSQL and ability to write efficient SQL queries.
  • Familiarity with version control systems like Git for code management and collaboration.
  • Solid grasp of object-oriented programming principles and best practices.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail in writing scalable and maintainable code.
  • Knowledge of security best practices and the ability to implement security and data protection measures.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills with the ability to work in a collaborative environment.
  • Basic knowledge of cloud security compliance and cost management tools in Azure.
