This role involves designing and developing new or changing existing web applications/APIs, maintaining and troubleshooting web applications and APIs, and writing reliable code in Ruby/Rails.
Key responsibilities:
- Integrate with data storage solutions;
- Create services using microservices architecture;
- Dockerize the application/service;
- Identify and fix bottlenecks and bugs;
- Integrate user-facing elements designed by the front-end team;
Required skills and qualifications:
The ideal candidate has over 7 years of hands-on experience in Ruby on Rails, proficiency in either Sidekiq or Shoryuken, solid knowledge in React and Typescript, familiarity with AWS, specifically SQS (Simple Queue Service), and a degree in Computer Science or related field.
