Proposal Specialist

Job Summary:

  • We seek a highly skilled Proposal Specialist to drive our proposal development process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage RFP/RFQ/RFI processes, including bid management and capture management.
  • Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of US Federal government contracting, including contract vehicles and procurement regulations.
  • Write compelling proposals and sales collateral, including case studies and solution documents.
  • Collaborate with sales teams to develop account penetration strategies and sales plans.
  • Analyze customer needs and identify opportunities for service improvements or innovations.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in pre-sales and proposal writing, preferably in an IT services company.
  • In-depth understanding of US Federal government contracting, SLED contracting, and federal procurement regulations.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Skills:

  • Familiarity with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and ability to design engaging proposals.
  • Knowledge of capture and bid management using portals like SAM.GOV, GovTribe, GovWIN, FedConnect & GSA and FPDS.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
