Configuration Developer

Job Title: Configuration Developer in Claim Center

Experience Required: 3-8 years of relevant experience.

Location: Chennai, Hyderabad, Pune and Bengaluru.

Technical/Functional Skills

  • Configure / Customize Claim Center Application.
  • Gosu development, XML, PCF, REST and SOAP.
  • Knowledge and demonstrated ability with GOSU programming.
  • Guidewire Claim Center Specialist Configuration certification preferred.
  • Guidewire Associate certified preferred.
  • Experience with source code management systems.
  • Flexible in working under changing and different work environment.
  • Insurance domain knowledge.
  • Knowledge of Claims process.
  • Good working knowledge in:
  • A relational database management system.
  • Agile development methodologies, practices and principles across full software development lifecycle.
  • Change management practices in a parallel development environment.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Understanding the requirements/stories.
  • Drawing efficient High Level and Low-level design documents.
  • Configure & Coding.
  • Unit Testing.

Generic Skills

  • Excellent written and Oral Communication Skills.
  • Attitude to learn new items quickly and improvise.
  • Proven ability to work with changing priorities.
